Same owner last 8 years. Survivor with numerous parts repaired and replaced. Driven very little only in sunlight. Roughly ~ 1500 miles driven since purchase. The previous owner treated it the same way. Normal use during the ‘80s and ‘90s, but then treated and driven as the spectacular vehicle she is. Drivetrain update around ~ 100k miles (engine and transmission overhaul). No records but the condition and superb running and handling back this up. 141k showing on the odometer when purchased, now shows ~ 142.7k.
Owned and maintained by a meticulous restoration expert and collector. Original radiator tanked and rodded, all new cooling hoses, new thermostat and fan clutch installed. This engine runs on the lower end of cool in the ‘blue’ zone. The oil pressure runs over 75 psi. 85% new factory AC system installed, original factory compressor remains which was still functioning perfectly. AC blows ice cold. New shocks front and rear, new tires, new exhaust from front to back. New fuel sending unit and battery installed this month and oil change, upgraded stereo system with a hidden sub-woofer and new speakers in the original speaker grills appears stock.
All oil leaks repaired. Very small place of paint bubbling on the front left section in front of the left front tire, (see picture). Was there when purchased, hasn’t changed in 8 years. Rear tail gate woodgrain trim repainted, (replacement rear hatch woodgrain trim included). Sunroof works great and everything else works as it should. All windows work, the rear two rear seats operate a little slower than normal, but still work fine. One blinker (left) does not auto stop (on dash) after a turn. 4WD engages & works, but never driven in four-wheel-drive on dirt roads, etc.. this owner.
The Wagoneer stayed in production for 29 model years (1963–1991) with an almost unchanged body style making it the third longest-produced single generation car in U.S. automotive history.
Heavy-Duty Tires P235/75R15 with full size spare. Wheels 15″x7″ cast aluminum (12 spoke/6-lug). Looks, runs, handles fantastic. *** Surf Board Not Included ***.
