FOUR-BY Motor Co is pleased to offer this rare 1996 Ford F250 XLT. This is a rare F250 with the super cab and the short bed. This combo is very difficult to come by and highly sought after. They are desirable because of their short wheel base, extra space in the cab, and the short bed rather than the typical 8 foot bed. These are by far one of our favorite trucks to daily drive. This one is completely rust free after spending its life out west. The truck is such a great looking rig with the two tone paint. The truck has a clean title, never in an accident, original paint and completely unmolested. It has the big block 7.5L V8 that starts right up. It has good power. It has an automatic transmission that was replaced roughly 40k miles ago. We have the paperwork from the transmission shop. The 4 wheel drive works great. We are selling this truck as a bit of a running and driving project due to a few issues. The truck still runs and drives and we have driven it all over town the past few weeks. There is a noise that we occasionally hear while driving that has been diagnosed as a possible cracked flex plate. We are simply to busy to get into diagnosing and fixing as issue like this so we are just selling the truck as is at a discount. Again, the truck runs and drives but does have this issue that will need to be addressed at some point in time. Otherwise, the truck feels tight and rides very smoothly. It has its factory original 16” Alcoa wheels. The truck seems to have been very well taken care of. The interior is very clean. It is an XLT trim package with all the power options. The seats are in very good condition. The drivers seat side plastic has a crack and we are actively trying to track a replacement down. The rear seat bottom has some sort of residue on the driver’s side. It does not affect the seats functionality but would need to be replaced in order to rectify the problem. The carpet is in very good condition for its age. The dash and door panels are in very good condition. The truck was not smoked in and there are no odors. Overall this is a very clean interior that is all original. The exterior is in very nice original shape. The two tone paint just pops and gets lots of compliments. It has a very good shine to it. It is not perfect or a show truck. It has some areas that have been touched up but overall it is extremely straight with no major issues. This truck looks better than most 10 year old trucks. The bed is in great shape and has a drop in liner. The undercarriage is very clean and solid. This is a great truck for someone who wants a great looking rare OBS and is willing to address some of the above mentioned issues.
