I can’t say this for a fact, but I feel like this 1988 Ford F-350 XLT Lariat for sale by Firehouse Vintage Vehicles has to be in the top 3 longest 4x4s for sale that we’ve ever featured here at Fourbie Exchange. Not only is it a F-350, built on the sizable and beefy one-ton chassis, but this one is the crew cab long bed variant. It is a fact that I would be horrendous at parking it, but I still want it.
This North Carolina truck by way of California and Nevada has 45,100 miles on its odometer and sports a fresh, super high-quality coat of its original factory color black paint, a plush red interior, and a ginormous 7.5 liter big block V8 power plant. Boy is this thing sweet. You can drive it home today for $29,900.
ABOUT THE FORD F350 XLT LARIAT
The F-Series is a series of rigs marketed and manufactured by Ford since the 1948 model year. Now in its fourteenth generation, the F-series is one of the most popular and longest running series of trucks in the history of trucks. In fact, the F-Series has earned the distinction of being the best selling truck in the United States for a jaw dropping 45 consecutive years starting in 1977. Perhaps even more impressive, the 1982 F-Series was so damn popular it was the top-selling vehicle in America regardless of category.
The F-350 is Ford’s one-ton chassis version of the F-Series, a workhorse meant for more heavy duty work than its sisters the wildly popular F-250 and F-350. This particular truck is the XLT Lariat trim, which adds some luxurious touches and creature comforts to the brute force of the 350.
