1974 Ford F350 Custom Flatbed – While the overall chassis and cab structure dated to 1961, the 1973 Ford pickups were heavily reworked with an all-new look for 1973, resulting in the sixth generation of the ever popular F-Series. One of the more notable elements of the new styling was the body sides, which had a concave body character line going across the upper portion of the sides, containing the side marker lights and the front turn signals fitted in line with it. These were mounted for the first time in Ford light truck history over the headlights. The aesthetics of the truck remained exactly the same for 1973, 1974 & 1975 model years. They didn’t even have a grille change (which was quite strange since they changed the grille constantly for so many years).

While we have been fortunate to have inventoried some great classic trucks over the years, we really have to “pay up” for the good ones these days. This classic F350 Flatbed was found on a farm in Chico, CA and we were able to secure it below current market value ($30,400 for excellent condition). When we get a deal, our customers get a deal, and we know the new owner will be extremely happy when taking ownership of this beautiful Ford! The truck was repainted (blue areas) by the previous owner in 2020 and we freshened all the white areas upon arrival to TX. We also installed a brand new black vinyl bench seat. The previous owner said this truck would drive from CA to TX without issues. While we opted to ship it instead, our local test drive would definitely validate his claims. This classic F350 starts, shift, steers, and brakes very well.
