I bought this LX to use it as a weekend warrior for family camping trips for years to come. To that end, I spent a lot of time and money on OEM parts and professional labor to build it up right, with about $9,000 in documented parts and labor on critical service and maintenance, leaving the next owner a great platform to return it to its full glory for years to come. Unfortunately, circumstances changed and I needed a more practical daily driver. My loss is your gain. It's been lightly modified, but never off-roaded during my ownership. Bid with confidence - you're getting a fantastic cruiser!

- The second generation Lexus LX 470 was the upscale version of the highly-desirable J100-series Toyota Land Cruiser, known for its extreme reliability, large interior, exceptional build quality, and legendary off-road prowess. It offers three rows of seating for up to eight total passengers, including the iconic foldable / removable rear row for increased utility.
- Additional factory options include electric folding side mirrors, dual-zone climate control, rear power venting windows, full-time 4WD with four-wheel traction control system (TRAC), limited-slip center locking differential, ABS, Vehicle Skid Control (VSC), color-keyed running boards, and 2 in. tow hitch.
- This example offers power from a 2UZ-FE 4.7L V8 rated at 230 hp. and 320 lb.-ft. torque. Power is sent to all four wheel via a 4-speed automatic transmission and 2-speed transfer case.
- The CARFAX indicates an extensive and documented history of Lexus dealership service. The current owner has extensively maintained the vehicle during their approximately 6k miles of ownership. Over $9k maintenance, service, and upgrades have been performed during the current owner’s tenure, including full OEM suspension upgrade, steering rack, radiator fan replacement, new OEM third brake light, new OEM rear chrome trim piece, new drivetrain fluids and filters, wipers, repaired brake lines, Bluetooth dongle, Doug Thorley headers, repaired exhaust leaks (passed emissions 12/2022), OEM brakes on all four corners, replaced axle assembly, tire balance, alignment, and rotation, 1.25 in. Spidertrax wheel spacers, and hood struts.
- Per the CARFAX, comprehensive service was concluded at 200k miles including new fluids, thermostat, water pump, timing belt, timing belt tensions/idler, gaskets, spark plugs, and a tire rotation.
- The Adjustable Height Control (AHC) system was professionally replaced with a full OEM Toyota Land Cruiser fixed suspension components, including OEM springs, shocks, and torsion bars. The original AHC components are still installed but bypassed (no known associated warning lights), and can be removed, resold, or repaired at the buyer’s discretion.
- Known flaws are viewable in the photo gallery and include miscellaneous dents, chips, and scratches around the exterior, light wear on the Neoprene seat covers, wear to the leather seats underneath the seat covers, clear coat fade on the passenger side rear quarter panel, rust spot on the driver side rear quarter panel, some rust in the passenger side rear door-jam, and some rust on the undercarriage. Center control panel buttons are fully operable, but tend to stick – a common flaw with this generation. Several switches and toggles have been cleaned and replaced with OEM components. The sunroof is currently inoperable.
- This example is offered for sale by the current owner with no reserve, a clean and clear title, and a clean CARFAX with no known accidents or mileage discrepancies. Included in the sale is one key and the current owner's service records totaling approximately $9,000 (see "Details" in the gallery).
