We're thrilled to have this 1990 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 up for auction on Fourbie. This 60 Series Land Cruiser was the subject of a refurbishment and modification process in 2020 that featured a fresh coat of paint, an overhauled interior, and a powerful 6.2-liter LS3 V8 transplant. It was also outfitted with beefy 33" BFGoodrich tires wrapped around 15″ American Racing steel wheels, LED headlights, KC driving lights, an Old Man Emu steering damper and springs, Cerullo front sport seats, a Grant steering wheel, and more. Bid with confidence on this stunning rig, and please leave us a comment below if you have any questions. Thank you!
- Tripp, Copley Motorcars
- This 1990 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 was acquired by the current owner in 2013 and underwent a refurbishment and modification process in 2020 that included repainting the exterior in Freeborn Red and gray, overhauling the interior, and mechanical updates including installing a 6.2L LS3 V8. The engine was installed and dyno-tuned in 2020 by Cruiser Solutions of East Hampstead, New Hampshire, and is equipped with block-hugger headers, a K&N air filter, a Derale Performance radiator, a G-Plus oil cooler, steel intake tubing. The entire package benefits from a stainless steel exhaust.
- Additional modifications include 33" BFGoodrich KO2 tires mounted on 15″ American Racing steel wheels, Truck-Lite LED headlights, LED reverse lights, KC driving lights, tinted windows, an Old Man Emu steering damper and springs, Cerullo front sport seats, a Kenwood touchscreen stereo, a Grant steering wheel, and aftermarket instrumentation.
- The interior has been overhauled with Cerullo front sport seats, a replacement rear bench trimmed in black upholstery, new carpeting, a Kenwood touchscreen stereo, a Kenwood amplifier, replacement speakers. The mahogany-trimmed Grant steering wheel frames Cruiser Solutions instrumentation including a 110-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and battery voltage. The digital odometer shows 9k miles.
- The truck is in excellent shape, but the seller notes rock chips near the wheel arches and corrosion is visible on underside components.
- Service and maintenance has been comprehensive, and has included new window trim, hood struts, and a new wiper motor and arms, repair of a leak near the driver’s door, new front brake pads and rotors (2020), a reseal of the transfer case (Oct 2022) and a recent oil change and brake fluid flush.
- The Carfax report lists “Exceeds Mechanical Limits” and “Not Actual Mileage” title entries and notes that salvage titles/certificates were issued in 2020 and 2021. The current Massachusetts title carries “collision,” “odometer discrepancy,” and “not actual mileage” brands. A redacted copy of the title certificate is presented in the gallery.
- This FJ62 is offered on dealer consignment with service records, build receipts, and a Massachusetts title in the owner’s name.
