Welcome to our auction of this beautiful, restored 1991 Jeep Wrangler Sport. This YJ, having been the recipient of a pretty significant recent restoration, is going to make a great driver and off-road adventurer for its next owner. Powered by a stout 350 cubic inch Chevy Vortec V8, this rig has also been modified with a new paint job, shorty headers, Bushwacker off-road bits, newly upholstered seats and a 4 inch lift, among other things. The photos just don't do this one justic. We look forward to answering any questions you may have and most importantly, passing this one along to its next caretaker.

  • This 1991 Jeep Wrangler Sport (YJ) is a remarkable fusion of classic ruggedness and modern performance. It underwent a thorough refurbishment five years ago.
  • Under the hood, it's powered by a robust 350 Chevrolet V8 (96 Vortec) engine with carburetion, delivering ample power. The 700 R4 automatic transmission ensures smooth shifts, and the Ford 8.8 rear end with 4.10 gears enhances its off-road capabilities.
  • In terms of aesthetics, this Jeep stands out with its Bushwacker fenders, bumpers, body armor, and rock sliders, giving it a rugged yet refined appearance. A 4" Rough Country lift kit adds both style and practicality, allowing it to handle diverse terrains. This YJ also received a fresh coat of paint, restoring its classic charm and maintaining its overall condition.
  • Performance upgrades include shorty headers and disk brakes, improving stopping power and durability. It sits on new wheels and tires, providing a great look and enhancing off-road performance. Inside, the interior has been refreshed, offering comfort and functionality. The new Bestop soft top ensures a snug and weather-resistant cabin, ready for open-air adventures when desired.
  • Known issues include: Radio & antenna removed; factory tachometer doesn't work (but aftermarket does); no reverse lights; original crossmembers cut/holes drilled to fit the small block; tranny mount/skid pan modified to fit small block; trac bar could use a longer bolt.
  • Clean Pennsylvania title and one set of keys are included with the sale. Note that the seller has a winch, hardtop and full doors that are not included in the sale, but he would be available at an extra cost.

@NFIEMPIRE Do you know why the reverse lights aren't functional? Seems like it would most likely be a simple fix, but with a Jeep that's as well done as this one it makes me a little nervous that it hasn't been corrected previously.
