Very nice, solid, and clean 1/2 ton classic GMC 4×4. New paint, interior, and more. The odometer says 18,603 miles. I don’t know the history on the truck, but I’m pretty sure the odometer has rolled over once and is 118,603. This is the High Sierra model, with A/C, cruise and tilt. The truck runs and drives excellent and has many new mechanical parts. This paint pops and gets a lot of attention. Original owners manual. All the details on the truck are below. I have more pics and video I can send. I have full undercarriage/underbody pictures. I can help arrange shipping if needed. Feel free to ask questions. I will respond promptly, and I can talk on the phone also if you’d like.

I DO NOT ACCEPT CARAMEL FOR PAYMENT: I accept and prefer wire transfer. I use a local credit union and they know me there, if your bank wants to call them. I’ll accept a cashiers check also, if it is sent overnight mail, the first business day after the end of the auction. I require full payment within 3 business days.

MECHANICAL: This pickup has the 400 small block motor with the turbo 350 automatic transmission. It is most likely the original engine. I have not checked the VIN on the motor, but I can if you’d like. The engine runs excellent. It does not smoke at all, even when cold. There is no blowby. There are no ticks or knocks. There are no leaks of any concern, but it has a little old truck seepage. There is no oil in the water, or water in the oil. The engine has very good oil pressure. The motor has no overheating issues. The transmission works fine with no abnormalities. The carburetor is a new edelbrock with electric choke. It has an aluminum intake manifold. It has new dual exhaust. The brakes are new. The rear axle seals are new. The transfer case was re-sealed. The front differential was flushed and resealed. The 4×4 works great. The transfer case is the NP203, and it has been converted to part-time, so you can run it in 2wd with the hubs out and the front won’t spin. Some u-joints are new. This has A/C, but the belt is off. Everything is there so it shouldn’t take much to get the a/c working. I just didn’t get to it. The alternator is new. I believe this truck probably has 3.07 gearing. I can check it for sure if you’d like. It cruises easily at 70. I took it up to 80 mph and still was cruising easy. It drives super straight. There are no vibrations or abnormalities. The tires are older and have some weather cracking, but it still drives great. I would recommend new tires. I was going to do that, but alot of buyers probably want to choose their own tire size/tread, so I just decided to leave them on. Overall, the truck is very mechanically sound. With new tires, I would be comfortable driving it anywhere.

BODY: The body on the truck is very nice. The paint is new and was painted by a local person that I know. The paint is very nice driver quality. It is very straight. I took pictures in the sun, and in the shade, to show it from all angles and light. There are no dents or dings. No wavy gravy. Anything you see in the shade pictures, is reflections of the clouds. There is no heavy filler, and I checked it thoroughly with a digital thickness meter. The bumpers are new. The pickup is very dry and solid. No rust-through. No frame rust. Frame rust is, for the most part, non-existent here. Montana still doesn’t salt the roads much except for intersections in larger towns. They didn’t salt them at all for the majority of this trucks life, and they still don’t where I’m located. I have more undercarriage/underfloor pics I can send. The doors, hood, and tailgate open/close as they should. The door glass has some haze. It’s not a big deal, but new door glass is pretty cheap and I think you can get it with tint if you want. I don’t believe the windshield is cracked or chipped, but I’ll double check it. All lights work

INTERIOR: The interior is in nice shape. The seat is newly recovered. The carpet is new. The headliner is new. The interior is very clean with no smells. The gauges all work. This has dual tanks, and when one of the tanks is switched on, it reads wrong so one tank will need a sending unit. This has the original radio. I’ll have to check and see if it works. The wipers work. The dash lights and interior light works. the heater fan and selector work. The horn and parking brake work. Tilt steering, which is really nice in a standard cab. I am 6’5″ and it makes a difference having a tilt wheel.
