1983 Volkswagen LT35 Van
GR Auto Gallery of Indy is pleased to present this unique 1983 Volkswagen LT35 Cargo Van for your consideration. Our understanding on the history of this vehicle is that it was part of the fire brigade at a Porsche factory in Germany. The evidence of it’s service is from the red paint that still shows in the interior. A recent repaint has changed the color scheme to a Metallic Orange and Gray design. The cargo area is covered in bedliner for ease of cleaning. The front seats have been replaced by two racing bucket seats. The LT35 is powered by a 2.5 inline diesel 6 cylinder and mated to 5 speed manual transmission. This is a cool van with a ton of potential; camping, tail gating, small business, if you can dream it, this is the van for you. Drive this one out of our showroom or have us assist with shipping it to you anywhere in the United States! Don’t hesitate to give us a call with any questions or for more information.
Very rare and rarely seen in America! LT stands for Lasten-Transporter or Cargo-Transporter, and the LT Series was introduced in 1975. The LT came in 3 versions: LT28, LT31 and LT35. The LT35 is a 3.5 ton truck with the pick up option. (The Westfalia was the camper option of the LT series).
Price does not include applicable tax, title, license, processing and/or $199 documentation fees.
