Buy it and listen to it roar for $25,900.
The Dodge W200: Light Duty Styled Power Wagon.
The 1976 Dodge W200 is a model series from the Dodge Power Wagon family of trucks, which you might have noticed, we love over here on Fourbie Exchange. While the Power Wagon was a medium-duty line of trucks, in 1957 they introduced a light duty line. The 1⁄2-ton 2WDs were called D100s and 4WDs were W100s, while the 3⁄4-ton 2WD and 4WD were the D200 and W200 respectively. The 4wd version featured the same styled cabs, front sheet metal and cargo boxes used on the 2WD models, but added 4WD mechanical components like axles, transfer cases, and transmissions sourced from outside manufacturers.
For simplicity, the W200 is part of what’s known as the D-Series. Aredesign of the Dodge D Series for 1972 introduced a more rounded look, which carried on until 1980 with some minor changes along the way. It had pocketed taillights and an independent front suspension, and included some notable models like the Lil’ Red Express and Warlock. The D series trucks would eventually be rebranded as Dodge Ram in 1981.
Values for the D-Series of trucks have, much like the truck market as a whole, gone up, with the classic.com data showing that the 1-year rolling average sale is 30% higher than the 5-year rolling average sale. Looking at the 1 year rolling average, you can see that this truck is priced right on the money. You can also see that a W200 is a rare bird indeed. This is a great one to grab if you’re able.
