1984 Ford F-150 4x4

SOLD  $42,000 | AMERICAN VINTAGE 4WD | WARSAW, IN

We love a good bullnose Ford, and this is certainly one of the best you’ll find on the market right now. For sale by American Vintage 4WD in Warsaw, IN is this 1984 Ford F-150 at an asking price of $42,000. You’ll pay a premium for this one, no doubt, but it’s special and you get what you pay for. Several have hammered down at well above this price in the last year.

Not only is this F-150 a 4x4 in the XLT trim sporting the 5.0 Liter V8 motor paired with an automatic transmission, but it has an astoundingly low 19,000 miles on its odometer. All original outside of the sharp looking Cragar wheels and beefy BF Goodrich tires, this rig is mint–even the dang undercarriage.

ABOUT THE 1984 FORD F-150 4X4

The 1984 Ford F-150 was part of the seventh-generation of the F-Series, the longest running #1 selling car or truck America has ever seen (since before this 150 rolled off the assembly line. Introduced in 1980, the 7th gen was the first total redesign of the F-Series since the mid-60s and was marked by an all-new chassis and body featuring straighter, more aerodynamic lines, which also helped to improve the truck’s fuel economy.

As with many classic trucks, this generation of Fords earned a nickname: Bullnose Fords. Named entirely due to the slanted front fascia, which is reminiscent of the shape of a Bull’s head and nose. This generation of Fords also represented the first time the Ford blue oval badge graced the grille of a Ford truck, replacing the normal convention of putting the F-O-R-D on the front of the hood. Bullnose Fords describe any 1980-1986 Ford F-Series and Bronco and are highly coveted by classic truck collectors in today’s market.
