This 1992 Jeep Cherokee (XJ) Sport is a really nice, very clean XJ that spent most of its life in California before coming to Michigan in 2022. It has never seen salt or snow and was used a summer toy and summer cabin vehicle. The last owner did a lot of maintenance and upgrades since he owned it to keep it a reliable vehicle for himself. The body is super clean and straight. It was repainted in its original color of Dark Silver Metallic and the paint still looks great! It still has the original factory fender flares and original bumpers. The front and rear bumpers were removed and painted black. The underside is super clean and the last owner detailed it nicely. We found no rust issues with this Jeep.

The interior is super nice. It has some really comfortable aftermarket seats that use the factory mounts and the original seats are included and they are in excellent condition. The headliner and visors are new. It still has the original carpet, original door panels, original dash, and original dash bezel that are still in excellent shape. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work. This Jeep has tilt wheel and manual windows and locks which is cool. The horn and windshield wipers work and the heat and AC are also working. There is a nice aftermarket stereo installed with 4 new kicker speakers.

Mechanically this Jeep is excellent and it runs and drives wonderful. The engine is the 4.0L Inline 6 that is stock and runs strong. This engine is known for its longevity and reliability. A new radiator was installed recently. It has the AW4 Automatic transmission that shifts nice and it is mated to the np231 transfer case. The 4WD works like it should. It has the 8.25 rear axle 3.55 gears and the front axle is the Dana 30 with 3.55 gears. It has a sweet 3 1/2 inch Rubicon Express all spring lift that was professionally installed. They added new front control arms, custom driveshafts, and an adjustable trac bar. This thing drives excellent! When they added the lift they installed 4 new American Racing Rims with 31 Inch BFG Mud Terrain tires. It has a full size spare as well. Recent maintenance includes new upper and lower ball joints, front wheel bearings, adjustable sway bar end links, steering stabilizer, new steering joints and tie rods, and all fluids recently changes. This XJ is ready to hit the road.
