• This is a right-hand drive, Japanese-market truck that’s titled in Maryland. Reportedly imported from Dubai in 2023, it’s equipped with a metric instrument cluster and its odometer displays about 37,200 kilometers, which represents approximately 23,200 miles.
• Factory equipment includes 17.5-inch steel wheels, a four-wheel steering system, locking front, center, and rear differentials, a trailer hitch, a removable soft top, vinyl upholstery, and rear folding bench seats. The selling dealer reports no modifications.
• Developed primarily for the Japanese army, the Mega Cruiser entered production in 1996 with portal axles, inboard brakes, and a robust turbodiesel engine. It offered about 16.5 inches of ground clearance, and it was available in numerous configurations including troop carriers and missile launchers. The military variant of the Mega Cruiser (called BXD10 internally) later spawned a civilian model (BXD20). Production ended in 2001 after about 3,000 units of the BXD10 were built.
