The 2017 Ford Hennessey VelociRaptor 600 is a high-performance truck based on the Ford F-150 Raptor. Hennessey Performance Engineering, a tuning company known for modifying and enhancing various vehicles, developed the VelociRaptor 600.

The “600” in the name signifies the horsepower output of the vehicle after Hennessey’s modifications. The stock Ford F-150 Raptor came with a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine producing around 450 horsepower. Hennessey upgraded the engine to generate approximately 600 horsepower, hence the name “VelociRaptor 600.”

Hennessey’s modifications include upgrades to the engine, exhaust system, intercooler, and tuning, all aimed at increasing horsepower and torque for improved performance. This enables the VelociRaptor 600 to achieve faster acceleration and higher top speeds compared to the stock F-150 Raptor.

The VelociRaptor 600 retains the off-road capabilities of the base F-150 Raptor, including features like specialized suspension, Fox Racing shocks, skid plates, and reinforced body components. This allows the vehicle to handle rough terrain and off-road challenges effectively.

Hennessey added exterior modifications to give the VelociRaptor 600 a more aggressive and unique appearance. This included custom wheels, upgraded tires, and body kits with graphics.

Interior comforts include leather seating, dual climate control, heated and cooled front buckets with heated rear seating, Ford Sync stereo system, full power options along with a panoramic sunroof. And this is only the beginning of what this tough truck has to offer.

The VelociRaptor 600 is a limited-production vehicle due to the custom nature of the modifications performed by Hennessey. As a result, these vehicles are relatively rare and can be sought after by enthusiasts looking for a high-performance off-road truck.
