Welcome to our auction of this awesome 1983 Dodge Ramcharger 150 4x4 on Fourbie Exchange. This is the perfect truck for an off-roading enthusiast that isn't satisfied with something you see everyday. Having been sold in much lower numbers than its counterparts the Bronco and the Blazer, the Ramcharger has the uncanny ability to turn some heads. By virtue of this one's 33 in. Mickey Thompsons, lifted body and oversized roof rack with off-road lighting do that in spades. We're excited to see this one go to its next lucky owner.   • The Dodge Ramcharger was manufactured for the North American market from 1974 to 1993. It was based on the Dodge D-Series and Ram pickups, and served as Dodge' competitor to the Bronco, Blazer, and Scout.
  • This example is powered by a well-maintained 5.2L V8 motor, which is mated to a 3-speed 727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission and part-time, manual shifted NP208 transfer case. The front Dana axle features manual locking hubs, while the rear is a Chrysler 9.25 in.
  • The exterior features the original black paint, which has been revitalized by the current seller but shows some patina and minor imperfections commensurate with its age. Modifications include suspension lift, 33 in. Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ tires, 15 in. slotted aluminum wheels, replacement fender flares, tubular luggage rack, AUXBEAM LED lighting, and rubberized rock chip guard on the lower panels.
  • Inside, a cosmetic restoration resulted in the installation of new red cloth front and rear seat upholstery, new carpets, and carpeted floor mats featuring the Ramcharger logo. The original gauge cluster sits in a woodgrain dash panel. The factory air conditioning and AM/FM stereo are also still present and functional.
  • Known flaws include the aforementioned minor chips and patina in the exterior.
  • Included in the sale are 2 sets of key and the owner's manual.
  • Offered with an accident-free history verified by CARFAX, which also indicates major exhaust work professionally completed approximately 2k mi. ago in 11/2021.
  • The vehicle has a Michigan title that carries a Branded Title (Exceeds Mechanical Limits) due to the previous owner reporting that the 5-digit odometer rolled over. True mileage is unknown, but is believed to be approximately 142k.

@Figg: If I recall correctly, there were three tiers of Prospector package, each with its own bundle of comfort-related options like the high-back bucket seats, cigarette lighter, and A/C. This one also carries the Royal SE badge.
