Welcome to the digital auction of our awesome 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ70 Soft Top! This right-hand drive Japanese TLC is powered by Toyota’s venerable 3B 3.4L diesel inline four-cylinder engine and 5-speed manual transmission. This short wheelbase Land Cruiser has been part of my personal collection for the past few years, but it's time for me to pass it along to its next owner. It's mostly original, with the exception of some tasteful 15-inch Fuel wheels, 33 in. Cooper Discoverer STT Pro tires, a snorkel, aftermarket headlights and a chrome exhaust tip.   • The 70-series Land Cruiser was introduced in 1984 as a replacement for the now-legendary 40/45-series models. The 70-series has always been biased towards commercial and military uses and was never offered for sale to the US market. A 2007 facelift modernized the aging styling, however the vehicle remains largely unchanged from its 1984 debut. Multiple versions exist, including the not-often-seen short wheelbase version featured here.
  • Mostly-original, 117k mi. 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ70 Soft Top, powered by a 3.4L inline 4-cylnder diesel motor which is mated to a 5-speed manual and 2-speed transfer case to turn all 4 wheels.
  • Modifications include: 15-inch Fuel alloy wheels with 33 in. Cooper Discoverer STT Pro tires and a matching full-size spare tire/wheel; Safari-brand engine snorkel;  aftermarket IPF headlights; chrome exhaust tip; and an aftermarket Hastings coolant temperature gauge.
  • Recent service and maintenance includes new rear brakes, new emergency brake cables, a new brake master cylinder, a transfer-case rebuild, a new front grille, and exhaust repairs.
  • Known flaws include some small rust spots on the rear door and some interior and exterior imperfections commensurate with the trucks age and mileage.
  • Included with the sale is a clean Utah title along with service records from the last several years and two sets of keys. Additionally, the seller will include the removed factory parts: Used black front grill; used black side mirrors; used brake master cylinder; used wheels & tires; and other spare parts

@kingmoab: Yes it's very cool She we personally drove in the highway few time but obviously its not 100% a daily highway drive. Its most for city streets, off roads etc... but it drives in highway at 50 to 60 mph with no problems
