-With only 55k actual miles, this truck drives exactly how you’d expect - goes down the road as smoothly and quietly as it did when new. Recently serviced in preparation for the sale with the following work done: Oil change, spark plugs & wires, distributor cap & rotor, ignition control module, vacuum hoses, fuel pump, carburetor adjusted, front brake pads, rotors & all-terrain tires.
Cosmetically, the exterior still wears most of its original paint which has faded to a nice patina due to the New Mexico sun. The truck was polished up and most but not all body panels took a nice shine. The bed is in near mint condition as it was covered for most of the past 45 years. Our plans for the truck were to clear coat the top sides and lower the suspension on a set of 20’s but have decided it is too nice and original for that. The interior is nice & original with the exception of a reupholstered bench seat. The engine bay is untouched, with a very clean firewall - all AC components are in place but not tested.
