This 1991 Jeep Wrangler YJ features a full frame-off restoration and a small-block Chevy 355ci V8 conversion, built from a 4-bolt main #010 block and bored .030 over. The engine is equipped with a steel crank, GM pink rods and pushrods, TRW dome pistons, World Product heads with 2.02/1.60 valves, hydraulic cam and lifters, 1.6 roller rockers, stud girdle, Weiand aluminum intake, and a Holley 650 double pumper carburetor. Ignition is handled by a GM HEI distributor and Taylor wires. It's backed by a Borg-Warner 3-speed manual transmission and 4.10 gears. The all-steel body sits on a 6" lift with mono-leaf springs and a dual steering stabilizer setup featuring Skyjacker Hydro 7000 shocks. Stopping power comes from new front disc and rear drum brakes. Exhaust exits through dual side MagnaFlow mufflers for a deep tone. It rides on a set of new 315/70 Dick Cepek Crusher tires with 19/32" tread depth, mounted on 17" Fuel wheels. Additional upgrades include an aluminum radiator with a manual-controlled electric fan, aftermarket front and rear bumpers, and a new soft top.
