About the 1960 Willys Jeep Pickup.

The Willys Jeep Truck is a truck made by Willys-Overland Motors from 1947 to 1965. Both the styling and engineering of the Jeep Truck was based on Willys' existing vehicles, which included the Willys Jeep Station Wagon and the Willys Jeep CJ-2A. The Truck was a 1-ton four-wheel drive truck with a 118" wheelbase and came in pickup truck, chassis cab or bare chassis, or platform stake truck configuration. The truck received a restyling in 1950 that included the addition of a characteristic V-shaped grille with five horizontal bars like the one you see on this example. Over 200,000 Willys Jeep trucks were manufactured throughout its 18-year production run.

This 1960 Willys Jeep Pickup is the recipient of a complete nut and bolt restoration that has left it in show quality condition. As part of its restoration, all panels were stripped to bale metal, as were the frame and suspension components. The teal and white exterior was sanded and buffed and the underside was completed in new black paint. It's powered by a freshly rebuilt 226 cubic inch inline 6-cylinder engine mounted to a Borg-Warner T-90 3-speed transmission and Dana 18 transfer case.
