This 1969 Ford F-250 4×4 for sale by Dover Speed Shop in Stow, Massachusetts is the kind of vintage pickup that becomes harder to duplicate with every passing year. A one-owner, unrestored Montana truck, it retains its original drivetrain, original interior, and remarkably, its original two-tone paint. According to the included Marti Report, it is also one of just four produced in this factory configuration. Built at Ford's San Jose assembly plant and sold new through Bison Motor Co. in Great Falls, Montana, this F-250 spent its life in Big Sky Country before making its way east. Under the hood remains its original 360-cubic-inch V8, backed by the factory four-speed manual transmission and divorced transfer case.

Better still, Dover Speed Shop describes it as a genuine turn-key survivor: the truck runs and drives well, its gauges and lights are operational, four-wheel drive engages properly in both high and low range, and key structural areas including the floors, cab corners, inner rockers, and frame remain solid.
  • One of Four: According to its Marti Report, this F-250 is one of just four examples produced with its particular factory equipment and color combination, giving an already desirable survivor Highboy another layer of rarity.
  • Original Drivetrain: Power comes from the truck's original 360ci V8, paired with its factory four-speed manual transmission and divorced transfer case. Four-wheel-drive high and low ranges are both reported to operate properly.
  • Original-Paint Survivor: Rather than being restored into something resembling a 1969 Ford, this truck still looks like the truck it has always been. Its original Cordova Orange and Pebble Beige two-tone paint remains in place, complete with the scratches, fading, chips, and age earned over more than five decades. For preservation-minded collectors, that honesty is a major part of the appeal.
  • Montana Provenance: Manufactured in San Jose and sold new by Bison Motor Co. in Great Falls, Montana, this is a one-owner Montana truck accompanied by a clean Montana title and Marti Report. Dover Speed Shop reports solid floors, cab corners, inner rocker panels, and frame.
  • Period-Correct Character: The original parchment vinyl interior remains largely intact, while factory equipment includes the Custom package, power brakes, heavy-duty front and rear springs and shocks, extra-cooling radiator, right-hand spare-tire carrier, and two-tone paint treatment. Factory Ford 16×7 eight-lug steel wheels complete the period appearance.
There are restored Highboys, modified Highboys, and trucks that have been rebuilt so extensively that little of Ford's original handiwork remains. This one represents something different. Its appeal lies in what hasn't been changed. The original paint still shows the truck's history. The original parchment cabin hasn't been turned into a modernized restomod interior. Its original 360 remains under the hood, the four-speed is still on the floor, and the truck continues to sit on simple Ford steel wheels. Even details like the bedside-mounted spare and Custom Cab trim help preserve the way this F-250 would have presented decades ago.

Add its one-owner history, Montana provenance, Marti-documented rarity, and functional four-wheel-drive system, and this is an unusually complete survivor from one of Ford's most collectible eras of heavy-duty 4×4 pickups.
