The International Harvester Scout was introduced in 1961 as one of the original sport utility vehicles designed to combine off road capability with everyday usability. The Scout 800A produced from 1969 to 1970 represented one of the most refined evolutions of the original Scout platform. It featured improved drivetrains upgraded interiors and increased comfort while retaining the rugged durability that made the Scout legendary.
The 800A was offered with multiple engine options including the desirable 304 cubic inch V8 which provided a significant increase in power and drivability over earlier four cylinder and six cylinder models. Today the Scout 800A is highly regarded by collectors and enthusiasts as a true icon of American four wheel drive history and a direct predecessor to the modern SUV.
This example stands out as a thoughtfully restored and tastefully upgraded Scout 800A that honors its heritage while delivering modern performance comfort and reliability. A rare and compelling opportunity offered by Fusion Luxury Motors.
