The interior is an outstanding recreation of how people once traveled in these VW campers. It's cozy, convenient, and fun. The front seats and door panels have been redone in dark beige and mustard yellow cloth and vinyl, while the black dashboard looks just as super clean. The VDO speedometer is flanked by a clock on one side and a small gauge cluster on the other. An AM/FM radio sits to the right of the driver, and the floor-mounted shifter is within easy reach. Moving toward the rear, the woodgrain vinyl appears nearly new. Amenities include a newer fridge, sink, ample storage, a hammock, and a bed in good shape. The unibody construction rides on a torsion beam front suspension with shocks, while the rear features an IRS torsion setup with shocks. Factory-style 14-inch wheels with hubcaps wear 185R14C tires. Stopping power comes from front disc brakes and rear drums, while a stock-style single exhaust keeps things quiet.
