Looking for a cruise down the beach or a ride through the mudding trails? We might have found the vehicle for you. The body is straight and rust free, painted in the classic Toyota Red (Toyota color code 3D7), a bright and bold color that catches eyes on every road. This 4Runner features a Softtopper canvas roof over the rear bench and trunk, which rolls up on all three sides. The canvas roof features plastic side and rear windows. We have the original hard top in excellent condition included with the sale. The front power windows also feature wing windows in front of the pillar. Even though this 4Runner has 254,000 miles, we know that, as a Toyota, it's not even broken in yet.

However much we love the exterior, we love the interior more. The automatic transmission features a transfer gear shifter and an ECT (electronically controlled transmission), to aid you on every adventure. For more information on any drive, just check the dash, which features a tachometer, an altimeter, and an oil and temperature gauge. The sound system has been upgraded with the Premier Pioneer DEH-P4000UB radio with a CD player, USB and MP3 player input, and AM/FM radio. Trial Guide A/P 31x10.50r15 LT tires wrap around the 15” factory alloy. Upfront you will find a set of smooth operating AISIN locking hubs.

The interior gray seat upholstery is in excellent condition for a 40 year old SUV. The front are two cloth buck seats with a rear bench seat. The previous owner installed new carpet throughout and we put in a set of color matched floormats to keep that new carpet looking pretty. The front seats can be manually adjusted, and a cubby compartment and glovebox complete the front cab. Interior dome lights illuminate the front seat, and the upholstered door cards have built-in lights. The sun visors are complete with vanity mirrors, and a 12v outlet provides extra power.

Car Cave recently completed over $5,000 of recent maintenance on this 4Runner. We replaced the fuel filter, TPS and fuel injector connections, repaired the fuel tank, pump and sending unit, installed a new vacuum booster, master cylinder, and bled the brakes. We also completed a block test and repaired a wheel lug, as well as performing maintenance and detailing the vehicle.

This classic Toyota has all the features of its era, with a few upgrades. Fun to look at and even more fun to drive, take on the roads in this 4Runner with the wind in your hair.
