cleanIt’s finished in factory two-tone black with dark grey sides, set off by the red factory pinstripe decal. Chevy enthusiasts call this combination the “Dale Earnhardt” colorway. This truck still wears almost all of its original paint. It has its share of flaws here and there, but it has earned its patina honestly over four decades. People try to fake this look, and it never comes out like the real thing. Underneath the character, the body is very straight.
The interior is in excellent shape for its age. It isn’t perfect, but the front seats and headliner are, which is rare for one of these trucks. As a Silverado, it’s well equipped: front A/C, cruise control, tilt wheel, high-back front bucket seats, a center bench, carpeting, a rear defogger, and a power tailgate window that still works, all finished in gray that pairs nicely with the black and grey exterior.
Mechanically, this truck runs like a top. It has received extensive recent servicing to make it a true turn-key truck. The truck sounds great with a set of MBRP mufflers and the drivetrain is built to work, with throttle body injection 350 V8, a Turbo Hydramatic 400 three-speed automatic, and a 4.10 rear axle. From the factory it was ordered with the Trailering Special package, a weight-distributing hitch platform, an engine oil cooler, heavy-duty cooling, and a full gauge package. This truck was spec’d to tow, and it’s ready to do it again - all while the AC is keeping you cool. The burb rolls on white steel wheels with original hubcaps wrapped in nice M/T tires that were installed in 2024
