CARFAX Report
This 1989 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Custom Deluxe is finished in Catalina Blue Metallic over a gray fabric interior, representing one of the last years of GM's square-body full-size Blazer before the platform wrapped up production in 1991. Silverado was the top trim on the K5 in this era, and this truck carries the comfort equipment that came with it.

Power comes from the factory 5.7L V8, running through a Jasper 4-speed automatic (4L60) and a 3.42 rear axle, sent to all four wheels through the K5's part-time 4x4 system. A Borla exhaust gives the small-block a deeper voice without straying from the factory-style combination underneath it.

The Silverado equipment carries through the cabin: power windows, power door locks, cruise control, and a tilt steering column, along with factory air conditioning that still blows cold — no small thing on a truck approaching 40 years old. An aftermarket Bluetooth radio adds modern connectivity without touching the rest of the interior. Underneath, the stance has been updated with 33-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2s on 15-inch Pro Comp wheels, giving the Blazer a more capable, trail-ready look while keeping the tire size sensible for a truck that still needs to drive comfortably on pavement.

Square-body K5 Blazers like this one have drawn steadily more attention as values for the platform have climbed, and a well-optioned Silverado with a rebuilt transmission and cold factory air is the kind of truck that can be driven and enjoyed rather than parked as a garage piece.
