During the current ownership period, the Wrangler has been upgraded with a 2.5 in. JKS suspension system, FOX shocks, 4.56 gearing, front and rear Detroit Truetrac differentials, upgraded steering and axle components, steel bumpers, a 13,000-lb. winch, and Goodyear Duratrac tires. Major drivetrain, gearing, suspension, transfer-case, and axle work was performed by Final Drive 4x4 Off Road in Fort Collins, Colorado, with receipts and documentation included with the sale.
- JKS Suspension & Chassis: At approximately 150,000 miles, the Wrangler received a 2.5 in. JKS suspension lift with FOX 2.0 shocks, an adjustable track bar, quick-disconnect sway-bar links, JKS front lower control arms, and J-Axis front upper control arms. The build was later supplemented with a JKS adjustable rear upper control arm to correct rear pinion angle. Additional chassis and steering work includes replacement ball joints, steering stabilizer, tie rod/steering linkage, and a Dana 30 axle reinforcement kit. Major suspension and axle work was completed by Final Drive 4x4 Off Road.
- 4.56 Gears & Truetracs: Both axles were regeared to 4.56:1 and fitted with Detroit Truetrac limited-slip differentials front and rear. This work was also completed by Final Drive 4x4 Off Road, with receipts available. The Wrangler currently rides on Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac RT 255/80R17 tires, including a matching fifth tire, mounted on Rockstar wheels.
- Rebuilt Drivetrain Components: The six-speed manual transmission was rebuilt at approximately 178,000 miles with new internal components and filled with synthetic ATF+4. The transfer case was subsequently rebuilt at approximately 186,000 miles, and the front and rear driveshafts were replaced with U-joint-conversion units. Major transmission and transfer-case work was performed by Final Drive 4x4 Off Road. CARFAX also documents drivetrain service during the current ownership period including clutch and flywheel replacement, transmission service, front differential and output-shaft seals, rear driveshaft work, front wheel hub/bearing work, and control-arm service.
- Brakes, Bumpers & Lighting: At approximately 180,000 miles, the braking system was refreshed with PowerStop drilled-and-slotted rotors, carbon-ceramic brake pads, new calipers, and new brake lines. The complete system was also flushed and bled with new brake fluid. Aftermarket powder-coated steel front and rear bumpers replace the original units, with the front bumper carrying a 13,000-lb. winch. KC Gravity LED Pro DOT headlights replace the factory halogen units.
- Long-Term Colorado Ownership: The current owner has put approximately 64,000 miles on the Wrangler since purchasing it in 2017 and reports that the majority of those miles have been accumulated on the highway. Off-road use has been limited primarily to annual hunting trips rather than regular recreational trail use. Oil changes have been performed every 5,000 miles using K&N oil filters. The seller retains receipts and documentation for the work performed by Final Drive 4x4 Off Road. CARFAX shows 39 reported service-history records and notes accidents in 2015 and 2018, the latter involving an elk with no airbag deployment, as well as minor front-end damage reported in June 2026. The seller also reports hail damage was repaired at approximately 198,000 miles with a replacement hood and repainting of the side panels. Minor surface rust is currently noted on the front bumper.
