The LR4 has earned a loyal following for combining genuine off-road capability with the comfort and refinement expected from a Land Rover. This 2010 Land Rover LR4 HSE LUX, offered by a private seller in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, builds on that formula with a substantial collection of ARB, Tactical Rovers, EVO Corse, Factor 55, and Long Range Automotive upgrades.

Finished in Santorini Black and showing approximately 95,000 miles, this LR4 is powered by Land Rover’s naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 and has been with its current owner since August 2019. The seller reports that the mileage accumulated under their ownership has primarily been highway mileage and that the LR4 has been garage-kept since purchase. CARFAX supports the long-term ownership story, showing just two owners from new, with the current Pennsylvania owner acquiring it at 77,860 miles in August 2019.
  • Built For Extended Travel: One of the biggest upgrades is a Long Range Automotive auxiliary fuel tank adding a claimed 28.5 gallons of capacity, controlled through a driver-side dash-mounted transfer switch. Combined with the LR4's factory tank, it significantly expands the truck's usable range for longer trips and travel away from fuel stops.
  • ARB Front-End Protection: Up front, the factory bumper has been replaced with an ARB Summit steel bumper retaining the parking sensors. It houses a COMEUP SEAL Gen2 12.5rs 12-volt winch with wireless remote and wired manual control, along with a yellow Factor 55 UltraHook and rope guard. An ARB AR40C light bar is integrated into the bumper and includes both clear and black covers.
  • Tactical Rovers Armor: The rear is protected by a Tactical Rovers bumper equipped with parking sensors, integrated side steps, and a tire swing-out. The bumper is also provisioned for a second swing-out should the next owner want to expand the setup. Tactical Rovers rock sliders with nerf bars protect the sides and feature custom yellow powder-coated accents that carry through to the truck's recovery hardware.
  • 18-Inch EVO Corse Setup: Five EVO Corse DakarZero 18x8.5-inch wheels are paired with five 265/65R18 BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires in Load Range E, providing a full-size matching spare and a more trail-oriented wheel-and-tire package than the LR4's typical factory setup.
  • Two-Owner History: CARFAX reports two owners, no accidents or damage, no structural damage, no airbag deployments, no odometer rollback indication, and no open recalls as of September 2, 2026. It also shows 33 service-history records.  The current owner has added relatively few miles since purchasing it; CARFAX estimates approximately 2,214 miles per year during the second ownership period.
The LR4 occupies an interesting spot in Land Rover history. It retained a traditional V8, full-time four-wheel-drive capability, and sophisticated Terrain Response system while adding the three-row practicality and road manners that made it considerably easier to live with than many purpose-built 4x4s.

This example takes those strengths and adds upgrades that address the things an overland-oriented LR4 owner actually uses: protection, recovery, fuel capacity, stronger tire fitment, and trail-friendly clearance. The combination of ARB armor, a 12.5K winch, Tactical Rovers rear bumper and sliders, 28.5-gallon auxiliary tank, and five matching EVO Corse wheels makes this substantially more developed than an LR4 wearing only a lift and larger tires.

The history is another positive. CARFAX documents regular servicing throughout both ownership periods, including transmission fluid service in 2016 and coolant, oil, power-steering, brake, and fuel-system service in 2018.  Just before the current owner purchased it in 2019, records show replacement of the front and rear brake pads, serpentine belt, thermostat and housing/gasket, water pump and gasket, and intake manifold gaskets. More recently, CARFAX records a fuel pump and fuel filter replacement, oil service, and A/C service in March 2025, followed by a four-wheel alignment in March 2026.
