This Land Rover Defender 110 Hi-Cap for sale through Sonoran Rovers in Tucson, Arizona combines one of the Defender lineup’s most useful configurations with a comprehensive refurbishment by Dutch Defenders. Finished in Keswick Green, this left-hand-drive pickup is powered by the sought-after 300Tdi turbo diesel paired with an LT380 manual gearbox, permanent four-wheel drive and high/low range.

Originally delivered in northern Germany near the Danish border, the Defender reportedly spent roughly its last decade there working on a farm hauling hay and feed. Dutch Defenders subsequently stripped the truck extensively for its refurbishment, addressing the chassis, drivetrain, body, interior, suspension and brakes before refinishing it inside and out. Now consigned through Sonoran Rovers, the truck has undergone additional shakedown miles in Arizona and is reported to run strongly, shift properly and drive comfortably both around town and at highway speeds.
  • Dutch Defenders Refurbishment: This wasn't simply a repaint. The body was removed to provide access to the chassis, which received a new rear crossmember and outriggers before being treated with protective paint. Dutch Defenders reports the chassis and bulkhead as rust-free following the work.
  • 300Tdi & LT380: Under the hood is Land Rover's 2.5-liter 300Tdi turbodiesel paired with the LT380 manual transmission. The refurbishment included a new timing belt, exhaust, fuel pump, radiator and intercooler along with fresh engine and transmission fluids and filters.
  • Hi-Cap Utility: The two-door 110 Hi-Cap configuration combines the Defender's permanent 4WD system and low-range capability with a pickup bed designed for serious utility. A heavy-duty Salisbury rear axle and strengthened springs further suit its working-truck roots.
  • Keswick Green Refresh: The body and interior were refinished in classic Keswick Green, complemented by new doors, locks, handles, weather seals, windshield, mirrors, rock sliders, front bumper, mud flaps and LED lighting. The bed also received a protective interior coating.
  • Upgraded Cabin: Inside, Exmoor Trim seating and a new cubby are joined by a LaSalle headliner and distinctive hardwood accents, including the dash pad, shifter, door handles and steering wheel. It's a substantial upgrade over the utilitarian interior this truck would have worn during its working life.
The 110 Hi-Cap occupies an interesting spot in the Defender world: unmistakably a classic Land Rover, but configured first and foremost as a working pickup. Add left-hand drive, the 300Tdi/LT380 combination and the extensive Dutch Defenders refurbishment, and this one offers considerably more than the typical cosmetic restoration.

The work underneath is particularly noteworthy. New springs, shocks, bump stops, brake pads and brake piping complement the chassis work, while five black Sawtooth-style wheels and BFGoodrich all-terrain tires give the finished truck a purposeful stance.

For a buyer looking for a Defender that retains its agricultural, go-anywhere character without inheriting decades of deferred cosmetic and mechanical work, this Hi-Cap presents a compelling package.
