  • Built on the Mojave Platform: Jeep developed the Mojave as the high-speed, desert-focused member of the Gladiator lineup, and this truck started with plenty of capability before the aftermarket work began. Factory equipment includes the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, eight-speed automatic, Command-Trac part-time four-wheel drive, Dana M210 front and M220 rear axles, electronic rear locker, Off-Road+ mode, and Fox hydraulic jounce bumpers.  
  • Suspension, Gearing & 35s: The factory suspension has been replaced with a Clayton Off Road 2.5-inch Overland system with heavy-duty rear springs and MetalCloak adjustable reservoir shocks at all four corners. TeraFlex tie rod and drag link upgrades strengthen the steering, while SwayLOC disconnect systems are fitted front and rear. Yukon 4.56 gears replace the factory 4.10 ratio and help accommodate the 35x12.50R17 Toyo Open Country R/T Trail tires mounted on bronze 17x9.5-inch KMC Canyon wheels. A Z Automotive Tazer Lite and rear-locker bypass harness round out the drivetrain-related upgrades. 
  • Recovery & Trail Equipment: A Quadratec Stealth full-width front bumper houses a 12,000-pound synthetic-rope winch fitted with a Factor 55 UltraHook, while a Rough Country tubular bumper protects the rear. An ARB twin compressor is mounted beneath the hood on an 813 plate and paired with a MORRFlate four-way inflation system. Additional equipment includes recovery ropes, shackles, a hitch recovery block, RotopaX fuel containers, TrailRax half roof rack, rock lights, auxiliary driving lights, and Bluetooth-enabled Auxbeam switch controls. 
  • Turnkey Alu-Cab Camper: The Alu-Cab Canopy Camper is outfitted for extended travel rather than simply overnight camping. Its electrical system includes two Bluetooth-enabled Renogy 100Ah LiFePO4 batteries, a Renogy Rover Li 30A MPPT controller, and a 200-watt flexible solar panel. An Ironman 4x4 13-gallon water tank and 12-volt pump provide onboard water, while an ICECO VL60 refrigerator/freezer handles cold storage. DC and USB outlets, integrated LED lighting, and a dedicated Auxbeam switch panel are also installed. Outside, the camper is fitted with a brand-new Alu-Cab 270-degree Shadow Awning and deflector mounting kit. 
  • One-Owner, Adventure-Used Example: CARFAX identifies this Gladiator as a one-owner Kansas personal vehicle with no accidents or damage reported, no structural damage reported, and no indication of an odometer rollback.  The seller is also refreshingly straightforward about its condition: this Jeep has actually been used off pavement and carries light branch pinstriping, a small dent on the driver-side rear quarter panel, and scratches or gouges on each wheel from rocky trails in Utah and Colorado. The seller reports that the wheel damage is cosmetic and does not cause leaks or other issues. Both differentials and the transfer case recently received fresh fluid, and a new windshield was installed in July. 
The Gladiator Mojave was already one of Jeep’s more specialized off-road platforms, but this build takes it in a distinctly different direction. Instead of chasing extreme tire size or turning it into a dedicated rock crawler, the modifications focus on making the truck more capable when loaded and more self-sufficient once pavement ends.

The Clayton suspension, MetalCloak reservoir shocks, 4.56 gearing, 35-inch Toyos, upgraded steering, onboard air, and recovery equipment address the truck side of that equation.
