The Willys Jeep Truck—also known as the Willys Pickup—was produced by Willys-Overland Motors from 1947 to 1965. It debuted as a 1-ton, four-wheel-drive truck with a 118-inch wheelbase, available in multiple configurations including pickup, stake bed, chassis cab, and bare chassis. Its styling and engineering borrowed heavily from the Willys Jeep Station Wagon and the CJ-2, creating a rugged, utilitarian design that quickly became a postwar classic. 

While this example now boasts a 350-cu.-in. small-block V8, the original Jeep Truck rolled off the Toledo, Ohio assembly line with a modest 2.2-liter inline-four producing 63 horsepower. Every model was fitted with a Borg-Warner T-90 three-speed manual transmission featuring synchromesh second and third gears, and 4×4 models like this one used a Spicer/Dana 18 transfer case.
