Long before the Scrambler, J-Series, Gladiator, the Willy Jeep Truck was offered as a post-war commercial 1-ton and 3/4-ton pickup. Approximately 200k total units were built during its production run from 1947 to 1965, but only a few surviving today. In fact, just 68 total sales are recorded by CLASSIC.COM, making this one of the more uncommon Jeeps available to enthusiasts and collectors alike. - The Willys Jeep Truck was produced by Willys-Overland from 1947 to 1965. Designed by Jeep's legendary industrial designer Brooks Stevens, the Truck was based on the Station Wagon and Jeep CJ-2A and was offered a series of drivetrains and layouts.
- Powered by a 226 ci. Super Hurricane L-head 6 cy. engine mated to a 3-speed manual transmission and dual-range transfer case. Additional features include manually-locking front hubs, front brush guard, black vinyl upholstery, and Alpine audio.
- Refurbishment includes overhauling the three-speed manual transmission and the dual-range transfer case, replacing the clutch, braking and suspension components, speedometer cable, rear main seal, ignition switch, voltage regulator, and various gaskets. Service documentation convey in the sale.
