1977 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 — One-of-a-Kind Custom Show Vehicle
Offered for sale is a highly customized 1977 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 finished in custom red show-quality paint and built with an emphasis on craftsmanship, performance, and attention to detail.

Purchased in 2000, the FJ40 underwent an extensive, multi-year build that was completed in 2010. The vehicle has been driven fewer than 100 miles since the rebuild and has primarily been preserved as a special/show vehicle. Despite its extensive modifications, it is fully titled and street legal, allowing the next owner to enjoy it both on the road and at shows and events.

The original frame has been boxed for additional structural strength and a clean finished appearance. The original 2F 4.2L inline-six was extensively rebuilt with sleeved cylinders bored .020" over, domed pistons, a torque cam, 2-barrel Holley carburetor, custom heat-wrapped headers, and an aluminum radiator with electric fan.

The original 4-speed manual transmission was fully restored, while the transfer case received a complete exterior rebuild and custom skid plate. The original axles and steering knuckles were fully restored, complemented by 4.88 gearing, custom axle skid plates, four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, a reverse front shackle kit, and a 4" suspension lift.

The fiberglass body is finished in custom red show-quality paint and features a front tilt hood, custom front and rear bumpers, and an aggressive stance created by the 3" body lift and 38.5 x 15 TSL Super Swamper tires. A full-size spare is included.

Inside, the FJ40 features 3-point harness racing seats, a Grant removable racing steering wheel, and a full custom roll bar.

This is a finished, highly personalized FJ40 that combines the unmistakable character of a classic Toyota with extensive mechanical work and custom fabrication. The result is a distinctive show vehicle that would be extremely difficult and expensive to duplicate today.

The vehicle has also received recognition from the automotive enthusiast community, having previously been featured by OnAllCylinders for its craftsmanship and unique build.
