About The Bricknose Bronco

Commonly referred to as the "Bricknose Bronco," the 4th Generation Ford Bronco was offered from the 1987 to 1991 model years. As the successor to "Bullnose Bronco," the Bricknose's boxy aesthetic and rounded corners offered a sleeker and more modern design than its brutish predecessors.

Powering the 4th Generation Bronco was your choice of either a 4.9L I6, a 5.0L V8, or a 5.8L V8. Trims included the Custom (base), XLT, and Eddie Bauer edition, each loaded with standard features and optional upgrades suited for adventure.

Like a typical middle child, the 4th Generation Ford Bronco competes for attention against its earlier and later counterparts. However, these 4x4s exceptional value by balancing classic status with modern approachability.

What is a 4th Generation Ford Bronco Worth?

When Ford announced the return of the Bronco for the 2021 model year, demand for classic Broncos surged. 4th Generation Broncos were no exception, moving from approximately $10,300 average sales price in 2020 to approximately $20,100 average sales price in 2021. Prices have remained stable since for the Bricknose.

With a $22,500 asking price, this 1991 Ford Bronco XLT is slightly above the average sales price, but its refurbishment, service, and modifications make it an attractive offering for Ford collectors and off-road enthusiasts alike.

It benefits from a clean exterior re-spray of the original color, 4 in. Rough Country lift, new headlights and taillights, painted grille and bumper, swapped aftermarket Ford emblems, black powder-coated American Racing wheels, dual-exhaust Magnaflow exhaust, and Mastercraft Courser C/T tires on all four corners plus the rear-mounted spare.

The undercarriage is rust-free save for minor surface rust. As an XLT-trim, it features a leather-wrapped steering wheel with cruise control functionality, air conditioning, power windows, power locks, tow receiver hitch, and black removable hardtop.

Inside, the refreshed interior includes Bluetooth Pioneer stereo head unit, new carpets, new seats, and a new headliner.
