Over the past four decades, I have had the privilege of owning some of the finest Toyota Pickups in the country. Every once in a while, one comes along that reminds us why we love these trucks so much.
This is one of those trucks.
Finished in Silver Metallic over its original gray SR5 cloth interior, this 1991 Toyota Pickup SR5 Extra Cab 4x4 is a true one-owner, lifetime Central California truck powered by Toyota’s legendary 22RE fuel-injected 2.4-liter four-cylinder mated to the highly sought-after 5-speed manual transmission.
Finding a clean Toyota Pickup has become difficult. Finding one that is completely original, has spent its entire life in California, has had only one owner, and still includes virtually every piece of documentation from new is something that simply doesn’t happen anymore.
This truck has never been restored because it has never needed to be.
