It was ordered new by the gentleman we acquired it from. It has been garage kept its whole life and is in near perfect condition. The truck was undercoated on day one, is rust free and has been well maintained for the past 31 years by the same guy. These trucks are known for going a million miles but the transmissions are the weak point. But not on this one. Most low mile trucks you see for sale today have original transmissions, however on this one the previous owner had the transmission professionally built to avoid ever having a problem. This is by far one of the baddest trucks for sale right now. It doesn’t have a rough country lift kit slapped on it like most dealers are doing. This truck has factory suspension and ride. This is a truck you could search a lifetime for. The color, the engine, the originality, it won’t come around too often. As stated, it is powered by the 7.3L V8 Power Stroke turbo diesel. It starts right up and idles smoothly. It sounds and feels like a new truck. It runs out great and is such a pleasure to drive. It has an edge tuner the previous owner had installed with the transmission build. It has stayed in the tow mode according to the gentleman. I can assure you he didn’t beat on this truck, rather babied it. It has an automatic transmission that shits smooth and strong. It has an MBRP exhaust that sounds great and far from obnoxious. It sounds perfect. It has a K&N intake. Otherwise the truck is bone stock. It has factory 16” Alcoa wheels mounted on BFGoodrich KO2 all terrain tires. This combo looks so classic on these trucks. We have most original parts for this truck including factory black fiberglass running boards. This is a very mechanically sound truck. It is by far one of the cleanest and most fun trucks we have driven. The interior is in like new condition. The carpet has been protected by floor mats. The carpet is in pristine shape. The seats are in excellent condition. The dash and door panels are in excellent condition as well. The dash pad has a small imperfection but these can be replaced. We left it alone because it is mostly in great shape and original. Everything is in great working order inside. This is one of the cleanest interiors we have seen. The exterior is in phenomenal original condition. The paint has a deep shine to it and is original. The black color on a clean standard cab is probably the best looking truck around. All the badging and decals are in phenomenal shape. The truck has been regularly waxed its entire life. This is one of the most incredible looking OBS’s you will see. It came with a A.R.E topper that has been removed and being sold separately. It may or may not be available as its currently listed for sale. The bed has a spray in bed liner and is in fantastic condition. The undercarriage is very clean and has been undercoated and regularly treated since new.
