 2004 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4x4 Xtracab, 3.4L V6, 5-speed manual, Imperial Green, 206,000 miles. I’ve owned it since March 2005, over 21 years, and bought it with only 10,019 miles on it. Lived in Hawaii for most of its life before moving to Connecticut. Mostly highway and local driving as my recreational truck, with very little off-road use. I have the original purchase paperwork and an oil change receipt for every 5,000 miles of the truck’s life. 

BODY: In June 2025 all body rust was repaired (roof, windows, doors and tailgate patched), door weather stripping channels were rebuilt with new seals, and the truck was repainted in original Imperial Green. Spray-in bed liner redone (it has had one since day one).

SHELL: Original shell made for this generation Tacoma, color-matched in Imperial Green. I found it in Colorado in 2025 while driving cross-country and have had it installed since. It’s clean, with sliding windows on three sides and a custom rear door that locks from inside and out. Great for camping.

BUMPERS: Custom front and rear bumpers made from 1960s Caterpillar steel with diamond plate tread. Front has a skid plate and 10,000 lumen LED light bar.

JUNE 2025 SERVICE: New throttle body, all U-joints, carrier bearing, front wheel bearings, clutch master and slave cylinders, and all fluids. Clutch disc is original.

OTHER WORK: New battery (Oct 2026), alternator (Apr 2026), Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 tires (Feb 2025), ball joints and rack bushings (Jan 2025), front struts and shocks (2022), window regulators (2020), fuel injector and brakes/rotors (2016). Timing belt and water pump done in 2018 (with hoses, belts, thermostat, crank seal and harmonic balancer) and again in 2019.

EXTRAS: K&N intake, tinted windows, Wet Okole camo seat covers, all-weather mats, replacement climate control faceplate.

CONDITION: Clean interior, no tears. AC, stereo and speakers work. 4WD works.

KNOWN ISSUE: Driver-side door lock is unreliable and I won’t be replacing it.
