About the Jeep Wrangler JK

The Jeep Wrangler JK is the third generation of Wranglers, debuting for the 2007 model year following the popular second generation Wrangler, the TJ. Like its predecessors, the Wrangler JK was a purpose-built machine with body-on-frame construction, but offered a new series of engine options. The long-running 4.0L I6 was retired with the TJ, and in came a new set of gas-powered V6 engines for the U.S. market. Additionally, the Wrangler JK continued the "Unlimited" moniker from the TJ with a long wheelbase, but added a second set of doors, giving buyers the first 4-door Wrangler option.

The Jeep Wrangler JK was available in X, Sahara, and Rubicon trim levels, with the Rubicon offering top-of-the-line options for ultimate off-road capability. Factory features and options for the Rubicon trim included the Rock-Trac transfer case with 4:1 low gear, Tru-Lok front and rear locking differentials, Dana 44 axles, rock rails, and more.

How Much is the Jeep Wrangler JK Worth?
