I am the original owner of this 2015 Silver Sky Metallic TRD Sport Double Cab Long Bed 4x4.
Most of the modifications and maintenance have been done by myself since new.
Currently the truck has 120,460 miles
In the last 200 miles I installed:
- New Accutune Valved Fox 2.5s for 4-6” lift
- New Bilstein RCD 5100 rear shocks
- New LCAs with greaseable balljoints - including stock ones as well with worn bushings and balljoints
- New Tie-rod ends
- Changed Coolant
- New Seat Covers – Seats were covered since new with Clazzio Covers and original clothe is in great shape – Clazzio Covers were worn so switched out for different covers as pictured
- New Front Brake Rotors and Pads
- Aligned 7/11/26
Last 1000 miles I installed:
- New Carrier bearing and U Joints
- New Battery
Recent maintenance to know to continue the maintenance schedule for next owner:
- At 90,000 miles: sparkplugs, diff fluid front back & xfr case
- At 91,000 miles New OEM Hub Assemblies from 05Taco4x4
My truck has the following modifications on it and I will be including many stock parts and other aftermarket options:
- Aftermarket Jeep LED Headlights retrofitted into OEM Housings – I made these custom- stock lights in nearly brand new shape going with it as well
- 315 70 R17 WILDPEAK A/T3W TIRES – towards the end of their life – The worst tire is seen driverside rear currently in my walkthrough video.
- Brand New Accutune Valved Fox 2.5s for 4-6” lift – also running ½” Toytec Top Plate spacers
- New Bilstein 5100 rear shocks
- TRD PRO Replica GRILLE
- SPC UCAs
- 1.25" Spidertrax Wheel Spacers front & rear
- Zone Offroad 6" Lift kit
- Chassis Unlimited Octane Front Bumper - stock bumper included as well
- MBRP XP Series Cat-Back Dual Exhaust
- XD Rockstar 2 wheels 17x9 -12
- Rokblokz mud flaps
- Access Roll-Up Tonneau – missing some hardware but still works - hardware included
- aFe Pro Dry S Air Filter
- Auxbeam 32" Lightbar and Pods
- Weathertech floor liners
- Fumotovalve for easy oil changes
My truck was undercoated when purchased new from Toyota and the frame is in great shape! I will be including the stock original UCAs LCAs if the buyer wants them, Front Bumper and crash bar, set of OEM Headlights, and some other random parts. I do also have Toytec 620 Coils and Toytec Top Plates if the new owner ever wishes to go back to a RCD 5100 setup I will include with the sale
Things to know, things I would do next:
- Yes I am on stock gears - for my application it is just fine - truck has always been a second vehicle mainly for hunting and taking dirtbikes to the track
- Yes the front crossmember is cut for the drop bracket lift
- Still on the stock leaf pack with the 4” block from Zone
- Truck has NEVER been truly offroad
- No check engine lights ever, no issues mechanically
- Cab Mounts have not been cut – Minimal rub currently as she sits on the street
- Tires are worn from a previous bad alignment from an incompetent shop when I switched to SPC UCAs but still have some tread left, – the E Rated tires are a little rough on the road but the truck drives just fine as is
- Drum Brakes have never been done
- Frame has not been replaced and is in great for a Midwest truck
- Truck has been garage kept since new and is still garage kept - paint is in great shape
- Rear Bumper and hitch have some rust starting, rest of the body is clean
- Interior Radio Surround I painted at one point which is why it is not the stock color
- Seats were covered from new
- Windshield has had a chip in it since 1800 miles that never spread - it’s still there
- Red off-road lights behind the grille - most of of the LEDs stopped working but they still look cool - they are wired to the same switch as the lightbar
- Stock bumper (included) has a small crack in the plastic from a buck literally running into me standing still.
- Wheels are currently plastidipped Black
- There are a few small pressure dents, scratches etc but nothing major or needing any repair.
- Last oil and oil filter change was at 117909 miles - only synthetic oil since new
- new accessory belt coming with as well uninstalled
- Sway bar endlinks should be replaced and do make a clunking noise - I was going to run no sway bar with the fox setup
Only reason for selling is relocation otherwise was going to keep forever.
