I’ve owned this 80 series since November of 2024. I drove it infrequently around town then on a couple trips across Colorado and Utah. The guy I bought it from got it from a guy who had done the lift and the outfitting but then blew the head gasket and that was in 2019 or 2020. The prior owner had the engine replaced (at approximately 300k miles) and completed several other repairs all of which I have the receipts. I bought it with 345k miles. I have put some energy into additional repairs and upkeep as described below. All the features still operate save the antenna. Body is straight and the paint is in good condition. Interior shows some wear and age but is clean and functional. It is a great truck with a lot of life left and is set up well for overland adventures.

Major Repairs/New Parts:
  • Engine replacement - 2020 (gaskets/hoses etc)

  • Driver door power window motor - 2021
  • Driver rear door power window motor - 6/2024
  • Head Gasket set, bolts, injector seals, thermostat, distributer rotor, spark plugs, throttle cable, EGR modulator, heater valve, A/C idler pulley, - 4/2023 (343,399 miles)
  • Battery - 11/2025
  • JVC Touchscreen radio - 3/2026
  • New HD tie rod assembly, spindles, and wheel bearings (made by Front Range Fabrication in Loveland, CO) - 4/2026
  • Rear Brake Pads - 12/2024
  • Front Brake pads - 4/2026
  • All belts replaced - 4/2026
  • Rear drive shaft u-joints - 4/2026
  • Transmission drain and fill - 4/2026
2" wheel spacers come with it but not installed

Known issues or repairs to plan for:
  • Brake fluid could use to be replaced
  • It needs two new tires. I replaced one of the 5 when I got it as it had a sidewall blowout. Two are pretty weathered. 
  • Hood needs a bumper on the driver side to reduce vibrations
  • Leather seats have some wear as usual, notably the driver seat. Third row seats are in great shape.
