Overview
The KZJ77 is one of the most refined vintage Land Cruisers in the 70-series lineage and extremely difficult to find. A coil sprung radius arm suspension was a huge step over leaf springs then you stack a turbocharged 3.0L 1KZ-T 3.0L diesel with a five-speed R150F manual behind it, with Toyota’s venerable two-speed VF2A transfer case, and you’ve got a bulletproof comfortable platform.
This particular KZJ77 went through a reconditioning in Poland 8-10 years ago with a full body off repaint, chassis refinishing, and color change respray. It is currently finished in a blue-gray metallic that is showing some age. Although the body is straight with no rust issues or repairs that would be needed for a repaint. We did a full 110+ point inspection of the systems to make sure the Land Cruiser starts, drives, and stops. The Car Cave team drove it in Poland for a little bit of wheeling and put about 100 miles on it since landing in the US. Contact us for an inspection report and service history.

Underneath is in great condition due to being previously refinished and no obvious signs of past accident repair. This 70 Series runs the 8-inch diffs with 4.30:1 gears and a limited slip rear, according to its G985 axle code. Also unique to the Euro-spec versions is that the 1KZ-T is non-EGR with a mechanical injection pump, eliminating a potential failure point from an aging ECU or emissions system.
We’ve had requests in the past to offer one of these rare Land Cruisers at the best price possible, and now’s your chance to pick one out of our lot before we did a complete reconditioning. A nice driver quality Cruiser that will need a little paint work (no body), a door panel, and window switches before flexing hard. Or keep it as is and make a bad ass overlanding rig.
