It recently had a tuneup. The transmission shifts great and the 4 wheel drive works well. It has new 35” Falken Wildpeak AT tires mounted on factory 16” wheels. It has brand new Bilstein shocks all the way around. It is equipped with airbags in the rear that have an onboard compressor and are controlled by a wireless remote. This is perfect for leveling the Excursion with a trailer or heavy load. The truck seems to be very mechanically sound and is an absolute pleasure to drive. The interior is in excellent condition for its age. The seats are all in very good condition and extremely comforatable. The carpet is clean and free of major stains and blemishes. The dash and door panels are in great shape. The headliner is clean and intact. This is a limited model offering all the upgrades available. It has heated power front seats, 6 disc CD changer, full DVD entertainment system, front and rear camera, husky all weather floor mats throughout the entire vehicle. It is a very clean and comfortable interior. It has front and rear heat and ac. It has seating for 8 people. The third row can be removed and the middle row folds down making room for a full 4x8 sheet of plywood. These are excellent vehicles with so much capability and capacity. The exterior is in great original condition. It is not a show truck but it presents itself extremely well. The paint has a great shine to it and appears to be all original. This would make a great third vehicle, daily driver or tow rig. The undercarriage is in good condition and very solid. It is very hard to find a 2005 model, the last production year in an Excursion…especially in this condition.
