Up for sale is an exceptionally clean and highly collectible 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Recon Edition finished in rare Gobi Clearcoat. This was the final and most desirable special edition produced for the outgoing JK platform before the launch of the JL generation.

Finding a Recon is difficult. Finding one in Gobi, with a 6-speed manual and only ~3,000 original miles, is on another level.

The Rubicon Recon package was the highest-spec factory Rubicon offered for the JK and included several upgrades over the standard Rubicon, including:

  • Heavy-duty front Dana 44 axle tubing with reinforced end forgings
  • Heavy-duty differential covers
  • Reinforced rock rails/sliders
  • Power dome hood
  • Recon-specific styling and trim details
I searched extensively for a low-mileage example before finding this Jeep. It has been adult owned, carefully maintained, and lightly driven. Mileage may increase slightly as it is occasionally exercised.

Current setup:

  • Brand new set of 5 Black Rhino wheels in Burnt Bronze
  • Brand new set of 5 BFGoodrich KO3 tires (285/70R17)
  • Wheels/tires installed at approximately 750 miles (July 2025)
  • Current wheel offset: -12
The original factory wheels, which are in mint condition, are also included with the sale.

Recent maintenance:

  • New rotors and brake pads installed at approximately 2,100 miles (January 2026)
  • Maintenance records and receipts available (Almost all gas fill-up receipts)
The Jeep remains largely stock, aside from several genuine MOPAR upgrades installed by the original dealership:

  • 2.5” MOPAR JK lift kit
  • MOPAR exhaust
  • MOPAR cold air intake
  • MOPAR steering stabilizer
