Needs:
  • The paint is not great. It’s a trail/off road rig and it reflects this. It looks ok from a distance but the hood and front trim on the hood needs repainted if that’s your thing. I painted the roof as the single stage urethane was pretty trashed. If you’re looking to win car shows, this is not the one for you. If you’re looking for a badass trail rig starting point, this is the one. 
  • Radio and speakers are not very good. 
  • No plastic engine cover. 
  • Missing the rear headrests. 
  • Needs rear gate gas strut as the locking tab is broken. 
This is an absolute trail goat and a beast on and off-road. Running washboard forest service roads aired down to 14psi with no front sway bar is like driving on a cloud. I used a 1in top spacer on the front to soften the adjustable front coilovers. 

It’s about 90% finished as I would add weld on sliders, beadlocks, spindle gussets, an overhead console, and a better roof rack. Selling due to bad knees and hips as I am now building out my 100 series Land Cruiser. This FJ is as solid as they come. It doesn’t have annoying rattles as anything that needed replaced got replaced. I searched hard to find one with no frame rot and I treated the slight amount of surface rust with KBS Rust Seal. No check engine light. No leaks. Around 28k invested in the car and parts. All labor done by myself other than the gears and alignment.
