I dare you to find another Bricknose Ford F-150 on the market that’s better than this one. You can’t. For sale out of RK Motors Charlotte in North Carolina is this epic restored and lifted 1991 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat 4x4. They’re asking $69.900 for it, which is a few bucks more than you can get a heavily optioned 2022 F-150 Lariat.

We’re here to say that we don’t think the 8th gen F-Series gets nearly enough love. Often overshadowed by 5th gen Bumpsides (67-72), 6th gen Dentsides (73-79), and 7th gen Bullnoses (80-86), the 8th gen Bricknose’s time is coming. One quick look at the front end of this rig, and you can see exactly where that nickname: That flat front end with tons of rectangles. You’ve gotta love it.
The Bricknose market is showing signs of increased demand, with the Classic.com moving average sale price increasing nearly 18% in the last year–still, there’s room to grow here. SPECS
It’s just perfect. This Ford F-150 has been meticulously restored to better than new condition. Mechanically, it sports a 5.8 liter Windsor V8 with EFI mated to a 4-speed automatic, which sends power to a Dana 44 front end and 8.8-inch rear axle. This XLT came with factory power steering and power front disc and rear drum brakes. And don’t forget about the suspension (you can’t, because this thing has an incredible stance). It comes with a 6” Rough Country lift kit and upgraded springs and shocks that provide a surprisingly comfortable ride.
The interior of this Bricknose is also immaculate, albeit original. It is equipped with dark charcoal cloth interior and a bevy of options including air conditioning, AM/FM radio w/cassette, power windows, power locks and even an optional tach.
On the exterior, you can’t look away from the Raven Black paint, which looks so deep you could almost dive right in. It’s accented with handsome looking silver stripes. It all comes together with big fat BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A tires mounted on some sweet polished mag wheels.
