1952 Ford F1 Panel Delivery Truck
This is a very solid classic ford panel truck. The body 99% rust free. Montana doesn't salt the road much, and probably didn't salt it at all when this rig was still on the road. These panels make great rods, tow rigs, push rigs, parts runners, business signage rigs, etc. etc. I've seen them built into mobile tap trucks, with kegs on the inside and beer taps on the panel sides. All the details on the panel are below. I have underbody pics I can send too, as well as video of it running. Clear title. I can help arrange shipping if needed. I will store the truck for as long as you need to pick it up or get it shipped, with no fee. Please read the payment methods that I accept below. Please don't bid if those payment methods don't work for you.

I accept and prefer wire transfer. I use a local credit union and they know me there if your bank wants to call them. I'll accept a cashiers check, Venmo, or paypal. The check needs to clear before vehicle is picked up.

MECHANICAL
The panel has the Flathead V8 engine. It runs perfect. It doesn't smoke, tick, or knock, even when cold. The transmission is a three-speed manual on the column. The transmission and clutch work great. No abnormalities. The clutch doesn't slip. There are no abnormal noises. All of the gears work as they should. I just drove it fast enough to check that all the gears work. I have not had it out at highway speeds. The engine has some old-truck seepage, but no leaks that I would be concerned about. The transmission leaks a bit, but I didn't check into it. It is not engine oil. The engine runs cool and doesn't overheat. I've changed the fluid in the transmission and differential. The brake master cylinder is new. The brakes work, but they need to be adjusted and the shoes checked out. The tires are older and need to be replaced but would be fine for low speed cruising in town. The rims are split rims, but not Widowmaker rims. These are easy to do yourself, but most tire shops still mount this style. They are 15".  The wiring will need to be re-done. It is pretty easy on these old rigs, because there are very few electrical accessories. Wiring kits are cheap and easy. The headlights are hooked up in case they are needed for loading or lot driving. The front leaf spring bushings need replaced. They sell a full kit specifically for this rig for $96. The shock absorbers are new. When you get new tires, I'm sure an alignment wouldn't hurt. The exhaust is a single system that comes out the passenger side. The exhaust is quiet, but it should be re-done. It would be cooler with a dual exhaust, but that's your call. Overall, it doesn't need any major mechanical work, but will need a few things done before being daily driver ready.

BODY
The body is very solid on this panel. There are two small spots of rust-through. One spot on the lower rear corner of each front fender. I can fix them for you if you want. I have full underbody pics of it on my lift. No rust-through underneath. The panel was originally mint green, which some of the original paint is visible in spots. This panel was owned by a laundry business at some point, and you can make out parts of the signage in the patina. The patina has been sealed with sweet patina. There is no Bondo. I've checked it thoroughly with a thickness meter. All the doors and hood operated as they should. I painted the grille because these '52 grilles are so cool and I thought it would look better than leaving the patina on it. The panel needs new door seals, which I'm sure are cheap and easy to install. The whole rear floor area still has it's factory wood floor, and it's all in nice shape. The glass has some bubbling and possibly cracks. New glass kits are cheap for this. No dents in the roof. I have more pics I can send.

INTERIOR
The interior is very sparse on these old panels. The original seats are gone. I possibly have a pickup bench seat I could put in the front, if you'd prefer that to the bucket seats that are in it. I can probably find original style bucket seats for it, but I would have to do some checking. The pics tell the story on the interior. The only things upholstered are the seats.

This classic Ford truck is sold as-is. I can help arrange shipping if needed. I accept wire transfer, or check for payment. I require payment to be received within three business days. After payment is received, the title will be sent priority mail. I can store the truck for free, for as long as you need.
