This 1977 Ford Bronco underwent a comprehensive frame-off restoration completed in 2025. The owner-builder now presents it for sale. As part of the restoration, a new Ford-certified steel body tub was installed.
The chassis features a 3.5″ suspension lift with James Duff radius arms, dual Bilstein front shocks, and Wilwood hydroboost-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. Power comes from a 5.0-liter Gen 2 Coyote V8 sourced from a 2015 Mustang GT donor vehicle, paired with a 6R80 six-speed automatic transmission. The 6R80 is controlled by a Lokar shifter with tap up and down shifting. A Dana 20 transfer case with JB Custom Fab cable twin sticks sends power to a Dana 44 front axle and Ford 9″ rear axle.
The numbers-matching original frame has been powder-coated in black, with the differentials finished to match. A 22-gallon steel fuel tank with a Tanks Inc. electronic fuel pump assembly has been fitted. Cooling is handled by an aluminum radiator, and the drivetrain features a Power by the Hour accessory drive system.
The custom stainless-steel exhaust system incorporates a Dynomax muffler and resonator, delivering the unmistakable Coyote tone without excessive volume.
The new steel body tub and factory panels are finished in Ford Brittany Blue with matching color-matched undercoating. All glass is flush mount for a modern look. Factory bumpers and badging have been restored, and Amp Research power-deployable side steps have been installed. The Bronco rides on Raceline wheels wrapped in 35″ BFGoodrich tires.
Inside, the cabin is trimmed in tan marine-grade vinyl upholstery. Features include:
- Custom center console
- Jensen 10″ LCD touchscreen with Bluetooth and backup camera
- JBL 8-channel amplifier
- Six speakers with a Pioneer 10″ subwoofer in a custom enclosure
- Vintage Air climate control
- Power windows and door locks with keyless entry and push-button start
- Dakota Digital HDX instrumentation
The build is fully documented with photographs and receipts, including records from the 2015 Mustang GT donor vehicle.
The digital odometer shows approximately 800 miles driven since completion of the restoration.
