This 1990 AM General M998 is a genuine U.S. military Humvee that later served the South Carolina Highway Patrol before being released through SC State Surplus Property. It comes with a clean, street-legal South Carolina title and is stored in our Aiken, SC climate-controlled showroom. The vehicle shown is owned, maintained, and driven by us here at Car Cave USA.

Presented in a deep navy military finish, this M998 wears its correct helmet-top enclosure, four full soft doors, and dual side storage compartments. This configuration is far more usable than the typical soft-top/troop carrier layout and provides secure cargo capacity while retaining the rugged character of the original aluminum-bodied Humvee.

Power comes from the trusted 6.2L GM Detroit Diesel V8 paired with a 3-speed automatic and full-time 4WD through the NP218 transfer case.
